Last Weekend, Recep has been on visit at Kai Bendixen to finish the first project bike for this years EHBE show. Vol.1 is a track frame made out of selected Columbus tubes, stainless FI SSL dropouts and some beautiful fillet brazing made by Kai. We added details like a seat stay integrated seatclamp and brake-thru seatstay and chainstay bridges. Call him Mother Gun and he will follow.
Right before Christmas (yeah!) we received a package from Terry at Reynolds. He sent over some special tubes made out of seamless, cold worked 3-2,5 titanium. The tubes used are some longer seatstays tapered from 18x0,5 to 15x0,7mm at the tip.
Just a few minutes before we was about to leave to Eurobike (meet us at A2/301), Tony from UPS brought the first batch of MO´s Mallet bikepolo mallets in.
The brand new Solo lugged bisbshorts will be available soon. First samples can be seen at our booth A2-301 at the Eurobike show beginning of September. check out the details here.
After the Berlin debate of brakeless or front-braked fixed gear riders being prosecuted by loosing their bikes, this made the whole thing getting back into discussion (oh no!). Well, any fixed gear rider know that the power of his legs at least can substitute the stopping power of the rear brake only. Now it´s official. Sorry, german only.
Next year our fixed gear / single speed models will got this brand new dropout design. We integrated holes to shave some weight and also changed the tension bolt diameter from 5 to 4mm to increase wall thickness at that area. You will find our design next year on several frames from other manufacturers.
